Refugee Research @ La Trobe: Seminar Series 2

The Refugee Health Research Centre at La Trobe University invites you to attend its second seminar series, "Research, Policy, People" on research and policy issues relating to refugees and asylum seekers. Monthly seminars will be presented until the end of the year, beginning on Wed August 2nd in Brunswick, Melbourne.

Worldwork in Australia 2006 - The Listening Land

The Global Process Institute Conference

Worldwork is an experiential training seminar in conflict work and community building. The seminar provides a unique opportunity for people from all over the world to come together in a powerful forum for focusing on and working with social, environmental, and political issues using group process skills. Between two and three hundred people from over thirty countries and all walks of life participate in these 7 - 10 day gatherings. The large staff facilitates a diversity of learning experiences that include large group focus and interaction, small group meetings, one-to-one sessions and networking groups.

Worldwork was developed by Dr. Arnold Mindell, founder of process-oriented psychology or process work.

Cost: $850 if reg by Nov 1, 2005, or $950 after that (*scholarships available)

19th Biennial Meeting of the International Society for the Study of Behavioural Development (ISSBD)
The conference covers the spectrum from ‘pure’ to ‘applied’ research, and from infancy to old age, and has a strong interest in cultural and cross-cultural issues. It thus offers a chance for Australian psychologists to present their work to an international audience, as well as to be exposed to the latest international research in developmental science.
