APS Interest Groups

There are 44 APS Interest Groups covering a wide range of special interests.

About APS Interest Groups

APS Interest Groups support members with special interests and assist communication between members interested in similar fields. The groups also advise the Society on issues related to their area of interest. Membership is open to all APS members.

Why join?
Interest Groups hold seminars, courses and conferences, publish newsletters and perform a range of activities on behalf of their members.

Application form
All APS members can join one or more Interest Groups by logging in to Manage Your Membership to subscribe online to APS Interest Group. Members needing to pay by cheque can complete the application form below.
Non-APS members are also welcome to join; however, some Interest Groups are not open to non-APS members (refer to and complete application form below).
