The coordinators of the Men and Masculinities Interest Group wish to welcome you to the new professional year:

We wish to apologise for the long gap in our correspondence - the reason being that the web page editor has been overwhelmed by demands under the Better Access Scheme which has increased demands for psychologists in clinical private practice.

However there has been lots going on and not a few people have requested that we re-start so here is the first feeble attempt to do so - if anyone wishes to volunteer to help, I would appreciate it very much. Simply to bring local issues to the fore, read and report of research or popular issues, to offer article, comments or discussion. Use my email address but be aware that I am likely to be slow in responding until mid-October 2008 when I will be free of some long term commitments. When we last raised issues with the membership, we were interested in sponsoring workshops in each state to foster other professionals interests in M&M issues. We also were considering discussing a policy for the appropriate relationship with male clients.
