About Us

Welcome to the Brisbane Area Branch

This branch covers the region north to Caboolture, west to Ipswich and south to Beenleigh, including regions with the following postcodes:

  • 4300 - 4306
  • 4311 - 4349
  • 4500 - 4516
  • 4520 - 4521
  • 9000 - 9725
  • 9727 - 9777

Members outside of these regions can request to receive communications from the branch. 

The executive committee of the branch are volunteers who work in a variety of areas.  As a group, they aim to support the community of APS psychologists in the local area.  This involves recognising the diversity of the membership and that the strength of the APS is in its membership. 

Activities of the branch include disseminating information to members, promoting the discipline and profession of psychology in the community, creating networking opportunities, providing/coordinating events and services for members such as professional development, and responding to queries from the public, media, and students

Branch Meetings

The Brisbane Area Branch Executive Committee meets once a month, usually on the first Wednesday in Stones Corner.  All members are welcome to attend.  Please contact Santo Russo for information and directions (email santo@betterlife.com.au).
