Terms of referernce

• To explore and promote views of masculinity that erode constraining definitions of masculinity which historically have inhibited men's development, their capacity to form meaningful relationships, and have contributed to the oppression of other people.  Such a view also supports the empowerment of all persons, the highest level of functioning and individual women and men, and the healthiest interactions within and between the genders.
  
  
• To provide a forum for discussion, peer contact, information sharing, and professional development for psychologists and/or other subscribers interested in the psychology of men and masculinities through meetings, workshops, discussion groups, guest speakers etc.
  
  
• To liaise with other professional groups whose aims are congruent with those of The Australian psychological Society Limited and the Interest Group.
  
  
• To provide advice to The Australian Psychological Society Limited on issues relating to men and masculinities.
